Go First

Toronto District School Board: Students are not eligible for Elementary School-Year Exchanges

To apply for a 2019 Go First Elementary Exchange Program please follow the steps outlined below:

STEP 1 
Adults 18+ living in the host home(s) apply for a Vulnerable Sector Check with your local police department using the Volunteer Letter.

STEP 2
Download, print, and complete the Registration Package

  • Registration Form
  • School Recommendation Form
  • Health Form
  • Conditions of Participation.

Submit all 4 completed forms along with the Registration Fee and most recent report card/transcript directly to the ISE office (via mail or email). We accept cheques or e-transfers for the Registration Fee. Credit card payments are not accepted.  

STEP 3 
Download and complete the electronic Application Form.

Instructions: Please save the application to your desktop and insert your photos into the saved application. Editing is easiest when using an Adobe program. 


Students whose time is shared between two homes must submit an application for each home. Parents living in the second home must complete the Second Household Application Form.

If you experience difficulty with the PDF, please contact the ISE office and we will assist you.
Submit directly to info@iseontario.on.ca by no later than November 01

Host First

To apply for a 2019- 2020 Host First Elementary Exchange Program please follow the steps outlined below:

Toronto District School Board: Students are not eligible for Elementary School-Year Exchanges

York Region District School Board: French – Immersion students are not eligible for an Elementary Host-First Exchange.  York Region DSB students in grade 8 French – Immersion may apply for a Go-First Exchange.

STEP 1 
Adults 18+ living in the host home(s) apply for a Vulnerable Sector Check with your local police department using the Volunteer Letter.

Exception: Toronto residents may apply for a Clearance Letter with the Toronto Police Service.

STEP 2 
Download, print, and complete the Registration Package

  • Registration Form
  • School Recommendation Form
  • Health Form
  • Conditions of Participation.
